Is MSME Registration is same as previously known Udyam Registration and Udyog Aadhar?
Yes, MSME New Udyam Registration is same as previous Udyog Aadhar and EM-II SSI Registration. Following are the guideline for New MSME Conversion and Registration.
Enterprises currently registered under EM–Part-II or UAM must re-register on the Udyam Registration portal starting from July 1, 2020.
All enterprises registered by June 30, 2020, will be reclassified based on the new guidelines provided in this notification.
The validity for enterprises registered prior to June 30, 2020, will continue only until December 31, 2021.
Enterprises registered with any other organization under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are required to undergo Udyam Registration.
